Machine Laid Kerb
Extruded asphalt kerb is laid using the extruded asphalt kerbing machine which is designed and manufactured in our in house fabrication workshop.
The extrusion process allows large quantities of kerb to be produced without any reduction in quality.

• Extrudakerb provides a complete asphalt kerb design and installation service.  A dedicated and highly experienced team handles every enquiry, from 40 kilometres to a few metres.
   
• Extrudakerb holds a number of UK and World patents for equipment operated by the group.  This equipment is not offered for sale or operated by any other contractor.
   
• Kerb extrusion machines have always been designed and manufactures in house.
   
• Clients visiting the group’s head offices are given a tour of the workshop and the extensive facilities.  Many are surprised by the work that goes on behind the scenes. And all go away confident that their needs will be met by a focused, well equipped team and a supplier that believes in service first and foremost.

• Associated advanced construction is simple. Grates are fully installed ahead of the kerb construction. 
   
• Where the design features off line outfalls then it is common to re-align the kerb locally around them.  This localised realignment can be machined laid, where a swept detail is required, or formed by hand suing pre-laid kerb, cut and affixed on a hot poured bitumen adhesive.
   
• Where the grates are located immediately in front of the kerb the extrusion process is unaffected as kerb is constructed past the grate.

• Extrudakerb provide a comprehensive repair service that undertakes repairs to all profile of extruded asphalt kerb.
   
• The use of short sections of pre-laid kerb secured on a hot poured bitumen adhesive facilitates minor repairs.  Pre-laid kerb is supplied by Extrudakerb together with comprehensive instructions allowing local independent labour to affect repair.

Kerb Collection and Delivery

• In addition to kerb being laid directly on site, individual 1 metre lengths of asphalt kerb are available for collection or delivery from our Head Office.
